Steven Vargas

Steven Vargas (he/they) is a multi-skilled 2D animator, filmmaker, invested in the history and process of animation. Currently a student at the School of Visual Arts, they’ve directed and produced multiple short films, including Sibling Rivalry (also titled Brothers) which won awards at the BMCC Film Festival (Best Animation, Honorable Mention for Directing). Fueled by a lifelong passion for animation, Vargas is a versatile artist who offers a lot to any project's table.
